The Lackawanna County Commissioners showed their support for the restoration of rail passenger service between Scranton, the Poconos, and New York City, in 2022 when they passed a resolution at a Board of Commissioners Meeting. Now Lackawanna County needs it's residents to follow suit.

Passenger rail service will provide business and educational opportunities, enhance local tourism and provide our residents a transportation option to our nation's largest city. Not to mention, an estimated $90 million economic impact to the region each year.
