The function of this office is to collect fines and costs for criminal cases in Common Pleas Court.

This office sets up payment plans and monitors payments to assure that they are made on a monthly basis. When payments are not made, contempt of court hearings are scheduled by this office. Failure to appear for hearings results in a Bench Warrant which is filed with the Lackawanna County Sheriff’s Office.
