Request for SEALED Bids on the following item: GC Smith Retaining Wall Replacement Project
The Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners have placed bid materials on file for the above project. Electronic bid documents will be available beginning December 02, 2022 by contacting Lynn Torrick of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A bid bond, certified check, or cash in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required to be submitted with each bid, payable to the Lackawanna County Treasurer, as a guarantee of the bidder’s willingness to execute the contract if awarded the same.
All bids shall be sent to the Controller’s Office by courier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) which could be tracked. Hand delivered bids will be accepted by the Controller’s Office. Bid Envelopes/Packets are to be sealed and plainly marked with the Project Name and Bid ID and contain all the specifications and the 10% Bid Bond along with all other pertinent information. All bids must be received by the Lackawanna County Controller 123 Wyoming Avenue, 2nd Floor Controllers Office Lackawanna County Government Center at the Globe, Scranton, PA 18503, no later than 11:00AM on January 5, 2023. Bid Opening will be 2:00PM on January 5, 2023 in the Commissioners Conference Room, 5th Floor, Lackawanna County Government Center at the Globe. 123 Wyoming Avenue, Scranton, PA 18503. The project site is located at the GC Smith Road Bridge in Elmhurst Township, PA. There will be a Mandatory On-Site Pre-Bid Meeting on December 15, 2022 at 1:00pm. To register for the mandatory teleconference, contact Lynn Torrick via email at email@example.com. You must register for the Mandatory Pre-Bid Teleconference in order to receive the teleconference call-in information, and you must attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Teleconference in order to be eligible to bid this project.
