| Countywide Tire Clean-Up Event |

November 4 to 14, 2009
Lackawanna County Commissioners Michael J. Washo, Corey D. O’Brien and A.J. Munchak, along with the Office of Environmental Sustainability will provide County residents with an opportunity to recycle their used tires at collection sites located in the municipalities listed below.
To offset the cost of recycling, each municipality will collect a $2.00 fee per tire for Passenger Cars and $5.00 per tire for SUVs and Pick-up trucks. All drop-off sites are open to all county residents.
NO Tractor Trailer or heavy equipment tires are to be accepted. ALL TIRES must be off the rim and free of water, mud debris.
